Stay connected for real time updates. #SustainableStateNJ

The 2018 New Jersey Sustainability Summit will explore how individual and community behaviors can impact the quality of necessities for better or worse, such as our air, water, health, economy, and so much more.

Sustainable Jersey brings together a unique mix of public and private, state and local partners to support communities in achieving remarkable progress. You will participate in thought provoking conversations that focus on engaging government, community, schools, business and academia in sustainable action. The event attracts over 300 diverse participants from across New Jersey.

The 2018 Sustainability Summit will focus on research, successful models, and available resources that contribute to each of us working together to build local capacity for change.

“The New Jersey Sustainability Summit provides an opportunity to hear how much progress is being made across the state as we all work toward building more sustainable communities.” -  Monica Coffey, Chair of Sustainable Margate

Keynote Speaker

This year's keynote speaker is First Lady Tammy Snyder Murphy. The First Lady comes with decades of experience supporting research, service and advocacy efforts focused on the environment, education, healthcare, youth and family services. Tammy has been an outspoken advocate for women’s rights, clean energy and is working to support local government efforts and the critical role that communities play in achieving our statewide sustainability goals. It is her belief in problem-solving through coalition-building and participation that makes Tammy the ideal person to keynote our 2018 Summit.

Sustainability Sessions

During the afternoon, you will have the opportunity to learn, listen and discuss topics of interest to you.  In order to help us plan space accordingly, you will be asked to select the breakout sessions you would like to attend during the registration process.
