This webinar will help improve your understanding of Earth and Climate science, how to usereal and near-real time data and develop effective teaching and learning practices
to advance climate literacy?
Come learn about science through engaging in activities, and discussions while
using data in authentic and locally relevant ways, with practicing Rutgers scientists.
Who Should Attend? Educators who are interested in improving their science skills in
using data with examples from the Ocean Observing Initiative (OOI) funded by
National Science Foundation.
What will we do? Activities will include: Exploring video from the Axial Seamount off
the Oregon Coast, hands on activities, building data skills using weather and climate
data to connect students to the core ideas in "ESS2: Earth's Systems."
