What’s Involved?

This program provides no-cost assistance to municipalities and school districts to support efforts that will improve building performance through energy efficiency analysis, planning, and upgrades. Program Background

The New Jersey Clean Energy Act became law in 2018 and set ambitious energy reduction targets. The law identified New Jersey’s public utilities as the entities that would be responsible for implementing many key energy efficiency programs. Thanks to generous support from Elizabethtown Gas, New Jersey Natural Gas, and South Jersey Gas, Sustainable Jersey is able to offer technical assistance programs to help municipalities and K-12 public schools, and residents and small businesses take advantage of these lucrative programs.

Project Timeframe

The program will accept participants on a rolling basis beginning in May 2023 and continue until funding is expended for the 2023 program year.
