OASIS (Organizing Action on Sustainability in Schools) is partnering with The Wells Fargo Regional Sustainability Teachers’ Academy, a professional development workshop designed to help local teachers from all subjects who teach grades 5-9 to integrate sustainability curriculum, develop campus projects and encourage community engagement.
Apply now for this FREE two-day workshop: Friday, December 2nd and Saturday, December 3rd 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
The workshop will be held at The Chapin School, Lawrence Township, NJ.
NJ TEACHER BENEFITS: Each teacher who participates receives $150 stipend and can earn Arizona State University Continuing Education Units. Teachers also receive a tool-kit full of sustainability resources for use in their classrooms, schools, and communities.
During this workshop, participants will gain the knowledge, skills and tools to implement sustainability projects in their school and will receive continual support by the Sustainability Teachers’ Academy Team as they implement their sustainability initiatives in their schools.
