Sustainable Jersey for Schools and its program partners regularly host trainings and events that support progress toward Sustainable Jersey for Schools certification. In general, events posted on the calendar are FREE or of minimal cost.

New Jersey Student Climate Summit
February 26, 2021 - 8:00 am to March 22, 2021 - 10:30 am
The Climate Summit is a FREE, virtual learning experience that includes opening and closing plenaries with keynote speakers, a variety of topic focused student sessions, and teacher professional development sessions held over a four-week period. This is a pilot project open to middle and high school teachers and their students from public schools located in Atlantic City Electric’s (ACE) service area. ACE’s service territory includes parts of Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester, Ocean and Salem counties. View the list of eligible schools here.
The Climate Summit is part of the New Jersey Student Climate Challenge and concludes with the launch of the Climate Contest.
