Accelerating the Electric Vehicle Transition with Outreach in Your Community

Forty two percent of New Jersey’s greenhouse gas emissions come from the transportation sector, which makes supporting the transition to electric vehicles a priority of New Jersey’s Energy Master Plan. School outreach campaigns – such as including EV car shows at school events – are an effective tool to promote adoption of Electric Vehicles (EVs) throughout the community.
This webinar features best practices for engaging the community to learn more about the benefits of EVs. Audiences for school education and outreach campaigns include a variety of community members, in addition to school fleet managers, such as homeowners, multi-family property managers, local businesses, and local car dealers. Including EVs in school outreach campaigns can help earn points in the Community Education & Outreach action.
