Learn how to take the next step toward making lasting change in your community by completing a School Travel Plan. This session will focus on the ins and outs of creating a School Travel Plan that will help to foster important partnerships between schools and the community, generate ideas and actions to make walking and bicycling safer and more desirable modes of transportation, and help to make your grant funding applications more competitive so your goals can become a reality! The NJ Safe Routes Academy, sponsored by the NJ Department of Transportation, features free online sessions to help participants make their communities more walk- and bike-friendly for people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds.
