Sustainable Jersey for Schools and its program partners regularly host trainings and events that support progress toward Sustainable Jersey for Schools certification. In general, events posted on the calendar are FREE or of minimal cost.

Join us for an informational webinar to go over the 2023 Sustainable Jersey Grants Program funded by the PSEG Foundation. The PSEG Foundation is contributing $100,000 to support another cycle of the Sustainable Jersey Grants Program. With this contribution, the PSEG Foundation has provided $3.1 million dollars in funding to support local sustainability initiatives in municipalities and schools across the state. Since 2009, Sustainable Jersey has distributed over $7.2 million in funding through the Sustainable Jersey Grants Program.

 

Funding supports efforts to implement projects that help schools gain points needed for Sustainable Jersey for Schools certification and make progress toward a sustainable future. This cycle will award four $10,000 project grants and thirty $2,000 project or green team support grants.

 

The webinar will be held on Thursday, December 15, 2022 from 3-4pm and will review the application process, provide tips on crafting a successful grant proposal, and demonstrate how to use the online application portal.
