The PSEG Foundation is contributing $100,000 to support another cycle of the Sustainable Jersey Grants Program. With this contribution, the PSEG Foundation has provided $3.4 million dollars in funding to support local sustainability initiatives in municipalities and schools across the state. Since 2009, Sustainable Jersey has distributed over $7.6 million in funding through the Sustainable Jersey Grants Program.

Funding supports efforts to implement projects that help schools gain points needed for Sustainable Jersey for Schools certification and make progress toward a sustainable future. This cycle will award four $10,000 project grants and thirty $2,000 project or green team support grants. Applications are due March 8, 2024. Schools and school districts participating in the Sustainable Jersey for Schools program are encouraged to apply.

The webinar will be held on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 from 3-4:30pm and will review the application process, show examples of potential projects, provide tips on crafting a successful grant proposal, and demonstrate how to use the online application portal. There will be plenty of time for Q&A at the end of the presentation.
